Laser Machining
Flanco offers 2D laser cutting with their Mazak laser cut machine. Laser cutting is often the best combination of precision and high production speed for materials as common as plastics to stainless steel. The Mazak laser offers versatility for gasket production, custom designs and glass etching. Flanco’s set up is a 1000-watt machine that cuts with a carbon dioxide laser on a 4×8 table.
“Our laser will reach 3,500 degrees fahrenheit, and that will cut steel. Our laser machining is accurate and fast, and the cuts are clean and exact. With this laser we cut plastics, aluminum, steel and stainless steel. The quality of the final product is obvious with the use of laser machining.”
